Sant Baba Karnail Dass Ji

Sant Baba Karnail Dass Ji is the honourable brother of late naik Naib Singh Gill Vir Chakra. He joined the Indian Armed Forces in 1944. During his tenure he also served in the border area of Jammu and Kashmir. Due to religious bent of mind and inclination to serve the needy and destitutes, he left the army on intuition by providence. On his return he started strict penance for continuous eight months at the sanctimonious place of baba Ganga Dass ji. Thereater he returned to his native village and constructed a dera. People from far away places started visiting him for religious discources and also for getting relieved from incurable ailments. Sant baba Mohinder Dass ji, his dedicated disciple started the construction of dera at village Jalal. After rendering his services at Jalal Sant baba Mohinder Dass ji moved to village Mallewala (Faridkot) on the wishes of Sant baba Karnail Dass ji.

Vir Chakra Vijeta Shaheed Naib Singh Gill

Vir Chakra Vijeta Shaheed Naib Singh Gill was born on 22 December, 1939 at village Mallewala, district Faridkot in the house of Subedar Sukhmandar Singh and mata Harnam Kaur. His lineage was traced to Dafedar Kehar Singh (Faridkot State) who was his grandfather and Sardar Bachittar Singh Gill, Sessions Judge Faridkot State, who was brother of his grandfather, was conferred the title of Sardar Sahib by the Viceroy and Governer General of India in 1918. He joined the army on 22 December, 1960 in 6th battalion the Sikh Regiment.

During the Indo-Pak war of 1971, 6 Sikh was deployed in the sensitive sector of Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir). On the night of 3/4 December, 1971 the enemy launched an attack on the post of Naik Naib Singh. Fierce battle ensued and culminated in hand to hand fighting. Despite grevious injuries, he displayed indomitable courage and cool determination of the highest order and laid his life. He was awarded Vir Chakra posthumously.

Sant Baba Mahinder Dass Ji

Sant baba Mohinder Dass ji, an unassuming and devoted religious and social saint moved to village Mallewala on 03 February 1990 and commenced rendering services by living in a mere tent. The foundation stone of the complex was laid on 08 March 1990 by Sant baba Karnail Dass ji. Thereafter baba Mohinder Dass ji is ceasely rendering religious discources and medical services.
